Each year, PeopleForBikes’ City Ratings program evaluates thousands of communities worldwide on the quality of their low-stress bike networks through our Bicycle Network Analysis (BNA). Bike-Walk Fayette has assisted local communities in preparation for these recognitions. Here are the links to the reports:
Most Improved
Peachtree City was also recognized among the United States 2024's Most Improved Cities for Biking, increasing by 28 points since 2020.
Bicycle Friendly America
Bicycle Friendly Community
Peachtree City has been recognized by the League of American Bicyclists as a Bronze-level Bicycle Friendly Community since 2014, renewing in 2019 and 2023, with a prior honorable mention in 2011.
Bike-Walk Fayette has assisted with the submission for each of these recognitions.
Bicycle Friendly Business
Trek Peachtree City has been recognized by the League of American Bicyclists as a Bicycle Friendly Business, first obtaining a Silver-level award in 2015, and then Gold-level award in 2019 and 2023.
Bicycle's Unlimited was recognized with the Silver-level award in 2018 but has since closed.
Bike-Walk Fayette has assisted with the submission for each these recognitions.

Runner Friendly Community
Peachtree City has been recognized by the Road Runners Club of America as a Runner Friendly Community since 2012, with renewals in 2018 and 2024.
