The Multi-Use Path System is what sets Peachtree City apart from nearly every other city in the United States. Live like a local and spend the day traveling the 100+ mile network of paths connecting neighborhoods, retail shopping centers, places of worship, office and medical parks, schools, recreation centers and lakes. A series of rules were developed over time to promote safe operation and use of the path system. You can get a free copy of the Rules in City facilities as well as bicycle shops and golf cart shops located within the City.
The Peachtree City Police Department has developed the first multi-use path safety program in the nation for motorized carts. This program involves an online education program followed by a practical test.
In addition, students receive path safety training in the elementary, middle and high schools.
